In January and February, eight student-created teams from DMAE competed in a friendly FUTSAL competition. Futsal is a football-based (soccer) game played on an indoor basketball court. Students selected their own team captains and names. Here are the results of the FUTSAL competition:

 Winners: Zone FC

 2nd Place: Salchis

 3rd Place: La Tri

The competition was sponsored by The Latino Student Alliance, and all funds raised went to trophies, medals, and the student organization. Mr. Abraham Alarcon, our Vice Principal, served as the referee.
