IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS

When children are entering school for the first time, parents are required to present a certificate of immunization from a licensed practicing physician or the county health department at the time of registration.

Newly admitted students will be granted 30 days in order to catch up with missing immunizations. If no documentation is received within 30 days from enrollment, the student will be excluded from school.

6th graders are State Mandated to receive 2 immunizations (Tdap and Meningitis) once they turn 11 years old. If your child(ren) has/have their annual physicals in the summer and they have turned or are turning 11, please make sure they receive the vaccines. Your child(ren) will be excluded from school if the Nurse doesn’t have the documentation on file.

The table below explains the minimum required vaccines a child needs per grade level in order to be considered compliant.
