The Board of Education has begun the process to select a permanent Superintendent and the search is underway. Selecting a permanent Superintendent is one of the most important responsibilities of the Board of the Education and is a major investment for the students, families, staff and the entire community of the Englewood Public School District.
Keeping in line with its commitment to community engagement, the Board of Education is committed to ensuring community input is a part of the search process. Meetings with constituent and stakeholder group representatives are expected to be scheduled in the coming weeks. More information on these meetings will be posted on our website as details become available.
In addition to participating in one of the feedback sessions, staff members are invited to complete a qualities survey. The survey must be completed by 8:00am on Monday, March 17, 2023. Information obtained from the survey will be used within the recruitment and selection process for our new Superintendent.
The Board deeply values the feedback from those we serve and listening to our district and community is incredibly important. The survey results and public meetings will help shape the search for our district’s next leader and we look forward to engaging with our district’s stakeholders in a meaningful way.
