On May 20, 2025, the Dwight Morrow High School community gathered to honor the memory of beloved English teacher and Senior Class Advisor Mindy Rochman with the dedication of a beautiful reading bench in her name.
Surrounded by students, staff, alumni, and family, this ceremony was a moving tribute to a woman whose passion for teaching and unwavering support for her students left an unforgettable mark on our school.
💬 Heartwarming stories were shared by former students, administration, colleagues, and her family who spoke of Mindy's kindness, wisdom, and ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Her classroom was a safe space, her laughter was unforgettable, and her love for literature—and Snoopy—was legendary.
This bench will now serve as a peaceful space for reflection, reading, and remembrance—just as Mindy would have wanted.
