April 2026
Dear Parents/Guardians of Incoming 2026-2027 Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade Students:
The Englewood Public School District is pleased to announce the opportunity for your child to participate in the Dual Language Program (DL) for the 2026–2027 school year.
We are excited to continue strengthening our Dual Language Program and remain committed to helping students flourish academically and linguistically in both English and Spanish. The selection process consists of several steps, beginning with students being fully registered to attend Englewood Public Schools.
Please note that enrollment in the Dual Language Program is limited, and completing the application does not guarantee placement. If your child is registered, we invite you to complete the online application form to initiate the selection process.
The Dual Language application is open must be completed and submitted no later than April 30, 2026 at 12:00pm. All completed applications will be reviewed in the order they are received. Students will be considered for placement based on meeting or exceeding the established screening criteria.
Students who currently have a sibling enrolled in the Dual Language Program must also meet the screening criteria. If the criteria are met, the student will receive priority placement.
