This spring, students in grades 3–12 will participate in New Jersey’s statewide assessments:
New Jersey Student Learning Assessments – Adaptive (NJSLA-A) for English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics
New Jersey Student Learning Assessments – Science (NJSLA-S)
These state-required assessments are aligned to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) and provide important insight into how well students are learning grade-level skills and progressing academically.

Important Reminders:
· Cell phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth headphones, tablets, and all personal electronic devices are not permitted in testing rooms
· Devices must be turned in prior to testing
· Students who do not comply may not be permitted to test and may face disciplinary consequences
· Bookbags, coats, hooded sweatshirts, and personal belongings are not permitted in testing rooms
These assessments help provide valuable information about your child’s progress and support schools in strengthening instruction to ensure all students meet grade-level expectations.
