In accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:7C-6.6, school districts are required to provide families with information regarding the state assessments and commercially developed standardized assessments that will be administered during the school year.
This information includes:
The type of assessment, subject area, and grade levels assessed;
The date or testing window for each assessment;
The time allotted for students to complete the assessment; and
Information regarding assessment accommodations and supports available to eligible students.

It also includes assessment descriptions, testing windows, accommodations, and additional information to help families understand the purpose of each assessment.
