The Englewood Public School District is excited to welcome legendary hip-hop pioneer, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, to the Dr. Leroy McCloud Elementary School on today, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 10:00am.
The 3rd Grade will host McDaniels where he will speak with the McCloud elementary school students along with special invited guests about how to deal with bullies, believe in themselves, and discuss his picture book, "Darryl's Dream." McDaniel's visit will not only aim to uplift Englewood students and highlight the importance of education but celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop!
